▪️057▪️With social media is almost impossible not to think we are competing with everybody else. Who has more fun, who has the perfect relationship, who has better friends, who looks better, visits the most exotic places, drinks the best iced latte. It is practically impossible not to compare ourselves to others and try to find our place in this competition called social media, not real life. But what if instead of comparing ourselves to others, we compare ourselves with our own selves. How much better is your present self than your past self? If the difference is not too big, then maybe you want to step it up! But how much better is your future self compared to your present self? I hope way better, more mindful, more confident, more respected. Be jealous of her/him, not of someone else who has a different set of skills, needs and priorities than you have!
